9 Signs You’re Destined to Become a Millionaire
Getting rich and becoming a millionaire may seem like a fantasy, but it’s not so far-fetched. There are a lot of key habits that millionaires have that attribute to their success. In reality, it’s a lot more common than you think and completely possible if you have the right mentality to become rich.
Here are 9 signs based on observations from several millionaire, that you’re destined to become successful.
1.You started earning money from a young age.
One of the most common traits that the wealthy have in common is that they began earning money at young age.. Bill Gates – the richest man on earth, started earning money at age 16 when he and three colleagues were hired by Information Sciences Inc to create a payroll program.
Even more impressive is Warren Buffet whose earliest earnings came from the door-to-door selling of chewing gum, coke bottles and magazines. If you had this entrepreneurial spirit as a child, then that’s a solid indicator that you’ll become a millionaire since you’ve always been on the lookout for ways to make money.
2.You’re focused more on earning than saving.
To make big money you have to be willing to take big risks – and those that are the most likely to become super wealthy are those that know this and are fearless in the face of taking huge risks that have the potential to help them strike it big. While you excel at saving and spending wisely, you should know that the best way to make money is to invest it.
3.You maintain an open mind.
You are not afraid of new ideas and know that closed minds do not inspire faith, courage, belief and active imagination. Successful millionaires change their psychological approach to money, success, and happiness.
4. You’re not stuck in the past.
Poor and average people are always talking about “the good old days” – they can’t get their heads out of past which makes it very hard for them to concentrate on building any sort of a future. You should be more concerned about putting your energy into the future. If your mind is constantly on your future, goals and next move – than you probably know where you’re going and you’re probably going to get there!
5.You are optimistic
There are plenty of millionaires who have lived the “from rags to riches” narrative, including author J.K. Rowling. She was a single mother on state benefits and attributes her achievements to her ability to focus all her attention on the things that mattered to her the most. Rich people believe: “I create my life.” Poor people believe: “Life happens to me.”
6. You know how to maximize your strengths.
“I suck at 99 percent of stuff, but I go all out on that 1 percent I’m good at,” Gary Vaynerchuk once said. That’s not to say that you shouldn’t learn something new or work on some of your weaker skills, it means that millionaires are able to capitalize on their greatest strengths and then surround themselves with people who can enhance their weaknesses.
7. You’re constantly improving yourself.
If you believe that the only way you’re going to become rich is by ensuring you have a long list of degrees and diplomas on your resume then chances are you’re going to be average for life – but if you’re constantly trying to learn new things and improve yourself – both mentally and physically than you’re probably going to earn a lot more money than the nerd that’s busy earning his third degree.
8.You’re an overachiever.
Were you that student who wasn’t satisfied with a B in class? Millionaires have the mindset to shoot big. On a mission to become rich, shoot for $10 million, not $1 million. Continue to think big.
9.You enjoy setting and reaching goals.
If you’re a chronic goal-setter, you think like a millionaire. Peter Voogd, founder of the Game Changers Academy, who made his first million before turning 26 once said, “You don’t make a million by accident. If it’s not a goal you sure as hell won’t hit it.”
